Kenyataan Media Oleh Chow Kon Yeow, Ahli Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Tempatan Dan Pengurusan Lalu Lintas Negeri Pulau Pinang Pada Rabu, 3 Februari 2010 Di Komtar, Pulau Pinang
Dear YAB Lim Guan Eng,
Good Days.
I suprise why is that the DPMM & NGO Islam will get so angry and try to spoilt the image of YAB Lim. Do they have misundersand or what is the agenda behind?
For any orginasation before you do a press conference or demostration, you should understand from both side the so-call victim & the local government. Do the organisation formally write-in? If yes, do the local governmnet reply on that?
Another issue that I think YAB Lim and the local government should look into is why do the ‘illegal stall” will operate on the government land? At this mean time, can the local government allow them to use by condition until the government really need to utilise the land.
As people will unhappy, after local government demolish the “gerai-gerai” the place let it empty, their prespective is waste and local govrnment do it without tolerance & maltreat the poor. Of course proper safety & cleanliness of the “illegal stall” should be consider.
I do support to demolish of illegal stall but with proper way & consideration. Sometime I really pity them, let look from their angle.
Beside law, we human do have the feeling of love.
