Let Justice Be Done – Let the Perak Voters Decide
Protect Democracy By Wiping Out The Shame of The Police Takeover of The State Assembly on 7/05/09

The momentous High Court decision today declaring that Datuk Seri Mohd Nizar is still the rightful Menteri Besar of Perak is a victory for the people of Perak, democracy and justice. This decision not only restores the Pakatan Rakyat Excos to their former position but also the shame of the police violent takeover of the Perak DUN proceedings on 7/5/09 that brought shame to Perak and the country in the eyes of the world.

DAP reiterates its call of an immediate dissolution of the Perak State Assembly and hold fresh elections in Perak to allow the rakyat the right to choose their own government. Only by returning power to the people, then can honour be returned to Perak and Malaysia.

    高庭法官阿都阿兹在尼查与赞比里的大臣双胞案件中做出勇敢及具有历史性意义的裁决，点燃了司法独立恢复公信力的最初希望，如今在不到24个小时却又被残酷地摧毁！

    这是为什么？为什么赞比里的上诉可以那么快获得批准？难道我国司法进步神速？
    上诉庭以极快的速度加速审理夺权篡位的非法国阵州务大臣赞比里的申请，以暂缓执行高庭法官阿都阿兹昨天宣布尼查是合法大臣的裁决，并与以往一般上诉庭召开三司会审不同，仅由上诉庭法官蓝里莫哈末阿里单独决定批准赞比里的申请，已引起公愤及令人质疑是否还能期待现有的司法制度可以带来正义及公平竞争！

    这是什么民主国家？点燃了希望又被吹毁了！

    “我们人民只希望所有法庭能够像现在（上诉庭审理赞比里申请）一样审理所有案件，超级快速及超级有效率。我很好奇，为什么在一些案件需要耗上数个月到数年时间，反而在上述情况及案件中，只花了数个小时就成立了一个小组。”

    “为什么出现双重标准？”

    “一名偷了一条面包的男子必须被囚禁数个月才有机会听审。背后的理由及通常给的藉口是许多案件堆积如山。”
