The latest speedy investigation by the Royal Malaysian Police(PDRM) on 13 January 2017, against me under the Sedition Act based on a police report lodged on 24th November 2016 raises very serious questions why such similar action was not taken against BN leaders when police reports are lodged against them. Is Malaysia a nation of one country two systems?(this statement in toto does not refer to the judiciary but to the prosecution and other enforcement agencies)<\/p>\n
This has raised once again serious concerns that PDRM and other enforcement agencies is merely a political tool for the BN Federal government to shield pro-BN leaders who committed wrongdoings and destroy opposition leaders. The BN Federal government can only rebut such negative perception by taking quick action against those who made threats against the safety and even lives of Malaysians, who have the courage to oppose BN unjust and cruel policies.<\/p>\n
On 13 January, Malaysians were shocked that a 13 year old boy had the power to “persuade” the police to investigate me for sedition and make an elected chief minister, spend an hour explaining to the cops my statement on 23 November 2016. In that statement I had asked how my statement calling on MCA, MIC, Gerakan and SUPP to withdraw from BN after UMNO supported PAS, was considered seditious.<\/p>\n
If even a 13-year old from Selangor can compel the PDRM to act against a Chief Minister from the opposition party, naturally begs the following question, “Will similar action be taken against the Prime Minister if a police report is lodged not by a 13-year old kid but by a grown up who is 26 years old or 52 years old over the 1MDB RM52 billion scandal or the multi-billion ringgit donation scandal?\u201d.<\/p>\n
Apart from this selective prosecution and investigation relating to BN top leaders, there appears to be double-standards when no arrests or charges are filed on police reports made against lies, threats of bodily harm directed against opposition leaders, unlike the quick action taken against BN leaders? Even when I as Penang Chief Minister am threatened or my family members falsely accused of non-existent crimes, no quick action is taken by the police or the Federal government authorities against the perpetrators.<\/p>\n
For instance my then 15 year old son was accused 6 years ago of sexually molesting his female classmate in a secondary school in Penang. This was given wide publicity nationally. The picture of the alleged victim was even posted on the internet by pro-UMNO bloggers. Till now the pro-UMNO bloggers are still not punished despite being clearly identified as the perpetrators for this barbaric crime against my child, who was a minor at that time.<\/p>\n
These allegations were baseless and false. The picture of the alleged victim was found to be female chess champion from Hong Kong, who made a public statement that she had never set foot in Penang and never even met or spoken to my son. Despite police investigations after 6 years, police are still investigating. Why after 6 years, the investigation is still not completed and no arrests were made?<\/p>\n
My son was publicly humiliated and suffered great stress when these cruel lies were made. I am thankful my son survived and did not suffer any post-traumatic stress disorder but those inhuman perverts who indecently attacked my innocent son are still free. Kes ini telah diklasifikasikan di bawah Seksyen 500 Kanun Keseksaan dan sehingga kini tiada mangsa cabul seperti yang didakwa telah tampil untuk memberikan keterangan bagi mengesahkan kejadian tersebut. Kes ini masih lagi dalam siasatan bagi mengenal pasti mereka yang terlibat dalam penyebaran berita ini.<\/p>\n
