Press Statement By DAP Secretary-General And MP For Bagan Lim Guan Eng In Kuala Lumpur On 27.5.2015. <\/p>\n

DAP is proud of its record of never interfering in another political party\u2019s internal elections. However DAP will not be cowed into silence by the PAS party elections to stop DAP from speaking up for the truth and defending right from wrong, regardless whether such questioning is seen as benefiting PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang. <\/p>\n

Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi is assured of victory and does not need any outside help from winning the PAS Presidency. For this reason DAP top leaders, at the Central Executive Committee(CEC) meeting on 25th May 2015 reiterated its readiness to face all possible future scenarios for PR. <\/p>\n

Even though Hadi said today that \u201cfor now he is still in PR\u201d, he should prove his commitment by answering 5 simple questions. Why then did Hadi:-<\/p>\n

1. break PAS commitments to the PR common manifesto and his personal promise to consult with PR leaders?;<\/p>\n

2. expressed support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in the midst of the RM 42 billion 1MDB scandal?,<\/p>\n

3. want to form a \u201cnational unity\u201d government with UMNO?;<\/p>\n

4. refused to express support for PKR President Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail in the recent Permatang Pauh by-election?; and<\/p>\n

5. declare that it is an obligation for Muslims to be angry with the DAP for opposing hudud laws, without mentioning other Muslims, non-Muslims, Sabahans and Sarawakians who had also opposed hudud laws. Opposition to hudud laws is based on it being unconstitional, not because hudud is part of Islam but because hudud is contrary to the Federal Constitution? <\/p>\n

Hadi\u2019s pronouncements are not consistent of being loyal and supportive of PR. If Hadi can not keep his promises, how then can DAP co-operate with Hadi on the basis of mutual trust and respect?<\/p>\n

Not only Hadi, but PAS senior leaders have avoided answering these five simple questions by trying to blame DAP for any break-up in PR. For asking these 5 simple questions, some PAS leaders have attacked DAP more viciously than they have attacked UMNO. However DAP must be consistent in our principles by asking the same 5 questions, not only after the PAS Muktamar but before as well.<\/p>\n

Kenyataan media oleh Setiausaha Agung DAP merangkap Ahli Parlimen Bagan, Lim Guan Eng di Kuala Lumpur pada 27 Mei 2015:

\nDAP akan terus mempertanyakan lima soalan mudah mengenai Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, tanpa mengira sama ada soalan tersebut memberi kelebihan kepada beliau dalam pemilihan parti PAS.

\nDAP bangga dengan rekodnya yang tidak pernah masuk campur dalam pemilihan dalaman mana-mana parti politik. Pun begitu, DAP tidak akan membiarkan dirinya dibisukan oleh pemilihan parti PAS bagi menghalang DAP daripada mengatakan apa yang benar dan mempertahankan yang hak dari yang batil. Tidak kiralah kalau pun persoalan sedemikian memberi kelebihan kepada Presiden PAS Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.<\/p>\n

Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi telah terjamin menang dan tidak memerlukan sebarang bantuan luar untuk memenangi kerusi Presiden PAS. Atas sebab ini pimpinan tertinggi DAP, dalam mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Eksekutif Pusat (CEC) pada 25 Mei 2015 mengulangi kesediaan untuk berhadapan sebarang kemungkinan bagi Pakatan Rakyat pada masa akan datang.
\nWalaupun Hadi telah dilaporkan berkata bahawa \u2018setakat ini beliau masih bersama Pakatan Rakyat\u2019, beliau mesti membuktikan komitmennya dengan menjawab lima soalan mudah. Kenapa Hadi:<\/p>\n

1. memungkiri komitmen PAS kepada Dasar Bersama Pakatan Rakyat dan jaminan peribadinya kepada pimpinan Pakatan?<\/p>\n

2. menyatakan sokongan kepada Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak di tengah kemelut skandal RM42 bilion 1MDB?<\/p>\n

3. mahu mewujudkan \u2018kerajaan perpaduan\u2019 bersama Umno?<\/p>\n

4. enggan menyatakan sokongan kepada Presiden PKR Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail dalam pilihanraya kecil Permatang Pauh baru-baru ini?<\/p>\n

5. mengisytiharkan bahawa menjadi kewajipan umat Islam untuk menyatakan kemarahan terhadap DAP kerana membantah undang-undang hudud, tanpa menyebut tentang orang Islam lain, orang bukan-Islam, serta rakyat Sabah dan Sarawak yang turut membantah undang-undang hudud. Bantahan terhadap hudud bukan kerana hudud adalah sebahagian daripada Islam tetapi kerana ia bertentangan dengan Perlembagaan?
\nKenyataan-kenyataan Hadi ini adalah tidak konsisten dengan perakuan bertaat setia dan menyokong Pakatan Rakyat. Jika Hadi tidak boleh mengotakan janjinya, bagaimana DAP boleh bekerjasama dengan Hadi atas dasar hormat dan percaya?<\/p>\n

Bukan sahaja Hadi, malah pimpinan senior PAS juga telah mengelak daripada menjawab lima persoalan ini dengan cuba menyalahkan DAP jika terjadinya perpecahan dalam Pakatan Rakyat. Hanya kerana mempersoalkan lima perkara ini, beberapa pimpinan PAS telah menyerang DAP lebih hebat daripada mereka menyerang Umno. Namun DAP mesti terus konsisten dengan prinsip dan mempersoalkan lima perkara ini, bukan sahaja selepas Muktamar PAS tetapi juga sebelum ia berlangsung.<\/p>\n

\u884c\u52a8\u515a\u53ef\u4ee5\u81ea\u8c6a\u5730\u8bf4\u6211\u4eec\u4ece\u6765\u6ca1\u6709\u5e72\u9884\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u653f\u515a\u7684\u515a\u9009\u3002\u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u884c\u52a8\u515a\u4e0d\u4f1a\u56e0\u4e3a\u4f0a\u65af\u5170\u515a\u515a\u9009\u800c\u5c48\u670d\u4fdd\u6301\u6c89\u9ed8\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4f1a\u7ee7\u7eed\u8bb2\u51fa\u771f\u76f8\uff0c\u634d\u536b\u4e8b\u5b9e\uff0c\u4e0d\u8bba\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u662f\u4e0d\u662f\u770b\u8d77\u6765\u5bf9\u4f0a\u65af\u5170\u515a\u4e3b\u5e2d\u62ff\u7763\u65af\u91cc\u54c8\u8fea\u963f\u65fa\u6709\u597d\u5904\u3002<\/p>\n
