The DAP Central Executive Committee (CEC) at its meeting last night unanimously resolved the following:-<\/p>\n
\u00b7 At the forthcoming DAP National Conference on Sunday 14 December 2014 at One City Convention Hall, USJ, Selangor, the CEC will submit various proposals to amend the Party Constitution including a historic quota of 30% of the elected CEC posts to be reserved for women. This is a concerted effort by DAP to encourage more women to join the DAP and demonstrates our commitment to increase the pool of women leaders in Malaysia, especially the participation of young female leaders.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u00b7 PR must regain the faith and win back the confidence of voters, especially Middle Malaysia, by fulfilling its promises and delivering on its commitments on principles of good governance, justice, freedom and democracy. The CEC urges PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang to attend PR Leadership Council meetings to make PR viable because PR is a governing coalition of ALL 3 parties, PAS, PKR and DAP. In view that Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi\u2019s presence at PR Leadership Council meetings is necessary as he is the sole authority in PAS who can make decisions, the DAP will wait until he is available to attend such meetings.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 All DAP leaders are to expand on the exposes revealed in the 2013 Auditor-General Report to highlight the wastage, inefficiencies and even malpractices that have caused huge losses in public funds, until dead people still receive payments and those who cheated the government of RM 1 million escape unpunished.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 DAP CEC expresses its deepest condolences to the victims of the recent mudslide tragedy in Cameron Highlands that caused the loss of 5 lives and urges the Federal government not only to engage in remedial measures but severely punish those responsible, including government officers and leaders, who directly caused or contributed towards this tragedy.<\/p>\n

Jawatankuasa Tertinggi Pusat (JTP) DAP dalam mesyuaratnya semalam telah sebulat suara memutuskan seperti berikut:-<\/p>\n
\u2022 Di Persidangan Kebangsaan DAP pada hari Ahad 14 Disember 2014 bertempat di One City Convention Hall, USJ, Selangor, JTP akan mengemukakan beberapa usul bagi meminda Perlembagaan Parti termasuk mengkhaskan kuota bersejarah sebanyak 30% daripada jawatan JTP untuk diisi oleh wanita. Ini adalah usaha bersepadu oleh DAP untuk menggalakkan lebih ramai wanita menyertai DAP, serta menunjukkan komitmen kami untuk menambah bilangan pemimpin wanita di Malaysia, terutamanya keterlibatan pemimpin wanita muda.
\n\u2022 Pakatan Rakyat mesti mengembalikan semula kepercayaan dan keyakinan pengundi, terutamanya golongan Malaysia Pertengahan, dengan menepati janji dan melaksanakan komitmennya terhadap prinsip-prinsip urus tadbir yang baik, keadilan, kebebasan dan demokrasi. JTP memohon Presiden PAS Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang untuk hadir ke mesyuarat Majlis Pimpinan Pakatan Rakyat demi menjadikan Pakatan Rakyat lebih bersemangat kerana Pakatan Rakyat adalah gabungan kesemua tiga parti PAS, PKR dan DAP. Memandangkan Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi merupakan satu-satunya pemimpin yang boleh membuat keputusan dalam PAS dan justeru perlu hadir ke mesyuarat Majlis Pimpinan Pakatan Rakyat, DAP akan menanti sehinggalah beliau berkelapangan untuk hadir, sebelum turut hadir ke mesyuarat tersebut.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Kesemua pimpinan DAP hendaklah mengambil langkah lanjutan terhadap pendedahan Laporan Ketua Audit Negara 2013 untuk menujukkan betapa teruknya pembaziran, ketidakcekapan malah salah laku yang telah mengakibatkan kerugian besar terhadap wang rakyat, sehinggakan orang yang sudah meninggal dunia pun masih menerima bayaran, dan mereka yang menipu kerajaan sebanyak RM1 juta boleh terlepas bebas.
\n\u2022 JTP DAP mengucapkan takziah kepada mangsa tragedi tanah runtuh di Cameron Highlands yang telah mengakibatkan lima nyawa terkorban, serta menggesa Kerajaan Persekutuan untuk bukan sahaja mengambil langkah pemulihan tetapi juga mengambil tindakan tegas terhadap mereka yang bertanggungjawab, termasuk penjawat awam dan para pemimpin, yang secara langsung atau tidak menyumbang dan menyebabkan tragedi ini berlaku.<\/p>\n
