Yesterday\u2019s statement reported that PDC had sold 245 acres of land by Penang Development Corporation(PDC) for RM 284 million to Aspen Vision Land Sdn Bhd and Ikano Pte Ltd, that is to be fully paid in 5 years. <\/p>\n<p>This is wrong. The correct amount should be RM 483,951,600(rounded up to RM 484 million). This important detail was overlooked as we have been working hard over the last one week to close two historic events, namely IKEA\u2019s entry into Penang and winning the rights to host for the first time ever the World Women Squash Championship in March 2014.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The error is regretted.<\/p>\n<p>LIM GUAN ENG<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014BM Version \u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>Kenyataan Akhbar oleh Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang Lim Guan Eng di Komtar, George Town pada 12.1.2014 <\/p>\n<p>Saya ingin membetulkan ralat dalam kenyataan saya semalam mengenai kemasukan IKEA ke Pulau Pinang. Kenyataan semalam melaporkan bahawa Perbadanan Pembangunan Pulau Pinang (PDC) telah menjual 245 ekar tanah pada harga RM284 juta kepada Aspen Vision Land Sdn Bhd dan Ikano Pte Ltd, untuk dibayar dalam tempoh masa 5 tahun. <\/p>\n<p>Ini adalah salah. Jumlah yang betul sepatutnya RM483,951,600 (digenapkan kepada RM484 juta).
