DAP had adopted this bird as a symbol of change both for its unique characteristics, hardiness and representation of the integration of both East Malaysia and Peninsular Malaysia into a Malaysian nation. Designed by Ooi Leng Hang for the general elections, Ubah has moved beyond the political realm and became a very well-loved for all Malaysians.<\/p>\n<p>The UBAH bird is inflatable is made of high quality PVC and weighs about 250kg. It\u2019s body thickness is 0.35mm while the life buoy is 0.7mm thick. This 25ft high and 36ft wide UBAH bird and was conceptualised by DAP supporters and sponsors after the success of the world famous yellow rubber duck in Hong Kong. This is a small contribution towards Penang and hopefully will be well-received by both tourists and locals.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->From its inception to the final unveiling of the UBAH bird on 13 July 2013, it was not an easy task to complete this project in 2 months. Those involved in both the creative design and its construction should be proud of their efforts. Their wish is not just in the sheer joy of creating this unique attraction but to share it with everyone \u2013 it is also something very unique to be called our own.<\/p>\n<p>With an estimated cost of RM 60,000, this UBAH bird will be temporarily docked at IJM Promenade until 31 August 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fakta Mengenai Burung UBAH Terapung (Ubah di Air)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Burung Kenyalang atau Enggang adalah burung yang berasal dari Sarawak dan adalah diantara haiwan tempatan yang paling dikenali. DAP telah memperkenalkan burung ini sebagai simbol harapan perubahan kerana sifatnya yang unik, ketabahan dan merupakan lambang perpaduan Malaysia Timur dan Semenanjung Malaysia. Direka oleh Ooi Leng Hang untuk pilihan raya umum, kini UBAH telah melangkaui ranah politik dan menjadi kesayangan rakyat Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>Burung UBAH terapung ini dibuat daripada PVC berkualiti tinggi dengan berat kira-kira 250kg. Ketebalan badannya 0.35mm manakala ketebalan pelampung yang digunakan ialah 0.7mm. Burung UBAH setinggi 25 kaki dan 36 kaki lebar ini diilhamkan oleh penyokong DAP dan para penaja berdasarkan itik getah berwarna kuning yang mahsyur di Hong Kong. Usaha ini adalah sumbangan kecil kepada Pulau Pinang dan diharapkan akan diterima dengan baik oleh para pelancong dan penduduk tempatan.<\/p>\n<p>Sejak permulaan sehingga tarikh pelancarannya pada 13 Julai 2013, ia bukan satu tugas yang mudah untuk menyiapkan projek ini dalam masa 2 bulan. Mereka yang terlibat dalam reka bentuk kreatif dan pembinaannya harus berbangga dengan usaha mereka. Hasrat mereka bukan hanya untuk kepuasan dan kegembiraan peribadi semata-mata malah ia juga unik dan boleh dikongsi bersama.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan anggaran kos bernilai RM60,000, burung UBAH akan berlabuh sementara di dermaga IJM Promenade sehingga 31 Ogos 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u6709\u5173\u300a\u6211\u7684\u4e4c\u5df4\u300b&#8211; \u4e4c\u5df4\u5145\u6c14\u9e1f\u7684\u8d44\u6599<\/strong><br \/>\n\u7280\u9e1f\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u6765\u81ea\u7802\u62c9\u8d8a\u7684\u672c\u571f\u9e1f\u7c7b\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u5f53\u5730\u6700\u5bb9\u6613\u8ba9\u4eba\u8fa8\u8bc6\u7684\u52a8\u7269\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002\u6c11\u4e3b\u884c\u52a8\u515a\u5c06\u7280\u9e1f\u7eb3\u4e3a\u6539\u53d8\u7684\u8c61\u5f81\uff0c\u51fa\u81ea\u4e8e\u5b83\u7684\u72ec\u7279\u7279\u6027\u3001\u575a\u97e7\u53ca\u4ee3\u8868\u7740\u4e1c\u897f\u9a6c\u6574\u5408\u6210\u9a6c\u6765\u897f\u4e9a\u8fd9\u4e2a\u56fd\u5bb6\u7684\u8c61\u5f81\u3002\u7531\u9ec4\u9686\u6c49\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3001\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5927\u9009\u7528\u9014\u7684\u7280\u9e1f\uff0c\u4e4c\u5df4\u5df2\u7ecf\u8d85\u8d8a\u4e86\u653f\u6cbb\uff0c\u6210\u4e3a\u4e86\u6df1\u53d7\u9a6c\u6765\u897f\u4e9a\u4eba\u559c\u7231\u7684\u4ee3\u53f7\u3002<br \/>\n\u8fd9\u53ea\u300a\u6211\u7684\u4e4c\u5df4\u300b\u5145\u6c14\u9e1f\uff0c\u662f\u4ee5\u9ad8\u7d20\u8d28\u7684PVC\u5236\u9020\uff0c\u91cd\u91cf\u7ea6250\u516c\u65a4\u3002\u4e4c\u5df4\u5145\u6c14\u9e1f\u7684\u539a\u5ea6\u4e3a0.35\u6beb\u7c73\uff0c\u800c\u6551\u751f\u5708\u7684\u539a\u5ea6\u5219\u662f0.7\u6beb\u7c73\u3002\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8eab\u9ad825\u5c3a\u3001\u5bbd36\u5c3a\u7684\u4e4c\u5df4\u9e1f\u6982\u5ff5\uff0c\u662f\u7ee7\u95fb\u540d\u4e16\u754c\u7684\u9999\u6e2f\u5927\u9ec4\u9e2d\u6210\u529f\u540e\uff0c\u7531\u884c\u52a8\u515a\u652f\u6301\u8005\u53ca\u8d5e\u52a9\u5546\u60f3\u51fa\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u3002\u8fd9\u9879\u52aa\u529b\u662f\u7ed9\u4e88\u69df\u57ce\u7684\u5c0f\u5c0f\u8d21\u732e\uff0c\u5e76\u5e0c\u671b\u80fd\u591f\u83b7\u5f97\u672c\u5730\u4eba\u53ca\u6e38\u5ba2\u7684\u6b22\u8fce\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4ece\u8bbe\u7acb\u4e4b\u521d\u5230\u57282013\u5e747\u670813\u65e5\u6b63\u5f0f\u63ed\u5e55\uff0c\u300a\u6211\u7684\u4e4c\u5df4\u300b\u5145\u6c14\u9e1f\u53ea\u7528\u4e86\u77ed\u77ed\u7684\u4e24\u4e2a\u6708\u65f6\u95f4\u5b8c\u6210\uff0c\u786e\u662f\u4e00\u9879\u4e0d\u7b80\u5355\u7684\u4efb\u52a1\u3002 \u90a3\u4e9b\u53c2\u4e0e\u521b\u610f\u8bbe\u8ba1\u53ca\u5efa\u9020\u8fc7\u7a0b\u7684\u4eba\u58eb\uff0c\u80af\u5b9a\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4eec\u672c\u8eab\u7684\u52aa\u529b\u611f\u5230\u9a84\u50b2\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u613f\u610f\u4e0d\u53ea\u662f\u5728\u4e8e\u521b\u9020\u8fd9\u4e2a\u72ec\u7279\u7684\u5438\u5f15\u529b\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u8981\u8ddf\u5927\u5bb6\u4e00\u8d77\u5206\u4eab&#8211; \u8fd9\u662f\u975e\u5e38\u72ec\u7279\u7684\u3002<br \/>\n\u300a\u6211\u7684\u4e4c\u5df4\u300b\u4f30\u8ba1\u5236\u4f5c\u6210\u672c\u4e3a6\u4e07\u4ee4\u5409\uff0c\u5c06\u4f1a\u6682\u65f6\u505c\u9760\u5728\u65b0\u65b0\u5173\u4ed4\u89d2\uff08IJM Promenade\uff09\u76f4\u81f32013\u5e748\u670831\u65e5\u4e3a\u6b62\u3002<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Facts about UBAH inflatable bird (Water Ubah) Burung kenyalang or the hornbill is a native bird from Sarawak and one of the most recognisable local animals.
