Press Statement By DAP Secretary-General And MP For Bagan Lim Guan Eng In Kuala Lumpur On 8.5.2013 <\/p>\n

DAP expresses support for Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to be retained as Selangor Menteri Besar for a 2nd term. Tan Sri Khalid should continue as Menteri Besar after leading PR to a resounding victory at the recent general elections by winning a 2\/3 majority with 44 out of 56 state seats in Selangor from the previous 36 seats.<\/p>\n

Even though DAP won 15 seats together with PAS 15 and PKR\u2019s 14, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim should be recognized for his integrity and stewardship of Selangor. This had enabled PR to beat back a determined effort by BN led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak himself to win back Selangor. DAP Selangor is also in full support of Tan Sri Khalid as the Selangor Menteri Besar.<\/p>\n

DAP menyatakan sokongan terhadap Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim untuk dikekalkan sebagai Menteri Besar Selangor bagi penggal kedua. <\/strong> <\/p>\n

DAP menyatakan sokongan terjadap Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim untuk dikekalkan sebagai Menteri Besar Selangor bagi penggal kedua. Tan Sri Khalid patut kekal sebagai Menteri Besar setelah berjaya mengetuai Pakatan Rakyat mendapat kemenangan dalam piliharaya umum baru-baru ini dengan memenangi majoriti dua pertiga dengan 44 daripada 56 kerusi DUN Selangor berbanding hanya 36 kerusi pada tahun 2008. <\/p>\n

Walaupun DAP memenangi 15 kerusi di samping 15 kerusi daripada PAS dan 14 kerusi PKR, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim patut diiktiraf untuk integriti dan perkhidmatannya di Selangor. Ini telah membolehkan Pakatan Rakyat bangkit melawan usaha kuat BN yang diketuai Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak untuk memenangi kembali Selangor. DAP Selangor juga menyokong penuh Tan Sri Khalid sebagai Menteri Besar Selangor.<\/p>\n
