RM100,000 Incentive Award To Dato Lee Chong Wei For Being The First Malaysian To Win 2 Silver Olympic Medals And For His Heroic Efforts In The 2012 London Olympics As Well As Encourage Him To Go For Gold In 2016 Olympics.<\/p>\n

The Penang state government will give a RM 100,000 incentive award to Dato Lee Chong Wei for being the first Malaysian to win 2 silver Olympic medals and for his heroic efforts in the 2012 London Olympics as well as encourage him to go for gold in the 2016 Olympics. The incentive award will be made through the Perbadanan Bekalan Air Holdings Bhd (PBA) programme to reward world-class Penang athletes. <\/p>\n

Despite his defeat to Lin Dan in the final, Dato Lee put in a valiant effort that brought pride to all Malaysians. In the end both Lin Dan and Dato Lee Chong Wei cried, the victor that he could finally prevail over such a worthy opponent and Lee who just missed by 2 points, Malaysia\u2019s first Olympic gold. Even though Dato Lee could not win Malaysia\u2019s first Olympic gold, he has already won an Olympic gold in all our hearts. <\/p>\n

Penang is proud of what this badminton champion from Bukit Mertajam has achieved. <\/p>\n

Even though all Malaysians share his disappointment at not winning, his fighting spirit and world-class ability inspired us and brought all Malaysians together as one nation, one spirit, one soul. Penang will give full support for Dato Lee to go for gold in the 2016 Olympics, which will also help groom worthy successors.<\/p>\n

Anugerah Insentif RM100,000 Kepada Dato\u2019 Lee Chong Wei Atas Kejayaan Menjadi Rakyat Malaysia Pertama Untuk Memenangi 2 Pingat Perak Olimpik Dan Usaha Gigihnya Dalam Sukan Olimpik London 2012 Serta Sebagai Galakan Untuk Meraih Pingat Emas Dalam Sukan Olimpik 2016.<\/p>\n

Kerajaan negeri Pulau Pinang akan memberi anugerah insentif RM100,000 kepada Dato\u2019 Lee Chong Wei atas kejayaan menjadi rakyat Malaysia pertama untuk memenangi 2 pingat perak Olimpik dan usaha gigihnya dalam Sukan Olimpik London 2012 serta sebagai galakan untuk meraih pingat emas dalam Sukan Olimpik 2016. Anugerah insentif ini akan diberi melalui program ganjaran Perbadanan Bekalan Air Holdings Bhd (PBA) untuk olahragawan Pulau Pinang yang bertaraf dunia.<\/p>\n

Walaupun terkecundang kepada Lin Dan dalam perlawanan akhir, Dato\u2019 Lee telah berusaha dengan gigih dan menimbulkan rasa bangga setiap rakyat Malaysia. Akhirnya, kedua-dua Lin Dan dan Dato\u2019 Lee Chong Wei telah menitis air mata. Bagi pemenang, kerana berjaya mengalahkan seorang lawan yang sangat layak iaitu Dato\u2019 Lee yang hanya kalah dengan 2 mata untuk meraih pingat emas Olimpik pertama Malaysia. Walaupun gagal memenangi pingat emas Olimpik pertama Malaysia, Dato\u2019 Lee telah menjadi juara Olimpik dalam hati setiap rakyat Malaysia.<\/p>\n

Negeri Pulau Pinang berasa bangga dengan kejayaan juara badminton daripada Bukit Mertajam ini.<\/p>\n
