Does admitting to a private moral scandal absolve Chua from blame and transform him into a hero of courage? I can only describe that Chua\u2019s courage as the courage of being thick-skinned. <\/p>\n<p>I do not understand Chua\u2019s challenge to me to admit to a secret relationship with a former staff when there is none nor why my wife has to admit to assualting her when my wife has never assaulted any one in her life. BN cyber-troopers hiding behind anonymous shadows spread vicious lies against my family and me on a daily basis. I have chosen to ignore them or else I have no time to perform my duties as Penang Chief Minister. <\/p>\n<p>However when these lies are hurled against me by BN and MCA leaders directly, I have a duty and right to protect my family. Chua must prove where is the basis of such wild allegations against my family and me. Is my refusal to reply to such lies in the internet months ago or my determination to sue those who spread such lies, a sign of guilt? <\/p>\n<p>If so, Chua and MCA should prove his courage and political morals by repeating the lies that I had a secret relationship with my former staff and that my wife had assaulted her so that both of us can sue him and MCA in court for defamation to clear our name for the sake of our children. Clearly Chua supports the cowardly action taken by MCA Melaka Chair Datuk Gan Tian Loo to abuse parliamentary privilege and hide behind that parliamentary immunity in the Melaka State Assembly to hurl such despicable lies against my wife. <\/p>\n<p>Unlike MCA, I have never abused parliamentary privilege to attack Chua personally in Parliament for his private moral scandal. Chua knows that it is MCA leaders led by former MCA President Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat that attacked him so ferociously untIil he was sacked from MCA during the MCA party crisis. <\/p>\n<p>My children deserves protection from such lies. They have been affected when UMNO Online, UMNO Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin and BN cyber-troopers spread lies that my 15 year son sexually molested his female classmate. Even though my son has been proven innocent, is it morally right and fair that my young son has to endure that type of trauma just so that some immoral BN and UMNO politicians can sabotage my political career. They are also affected now by the latest false allegations. <\/p>\n<p>If MCA and Chua have proof, state it publicly so that my wife and I can sue in court and prove our innocence not so much for ourselves but for our children. There is no need to continue this sordid saga of gutter politics by BN and MCA. The public is sick and tired of such smear campaign and character assassination and want to return to discussion of public issues that matters to ordinary Malaysians, particularly how to combat corruption and improve their economic livelihood. <\/p>\n<p>The question then to Chua is, \u201cDo you have the courage to repeat these false allegations publicly so we can let the courts decide?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Lim Guan Eng<\/p>\n<p>=========BM Version ============================== <\/p>\n<p>Kenyataan Sidang Akhbar oleh Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang Lim Guan Eng pada 5.7.2012 di Komtar, George Town<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chua Soi Lek dan MCA perlu membuktikan keberanian dan moral berpolitik mereka dengan mengulangi penipuan bahawa saya mempunyai hubungan sulit dengan bekas kakitangan saya dan isteri saya telah menyerang beliau agar kedua-dua kami boleh menyaman beliau dan MCA di mahkamah atas tuduhan fitnah bagi membersihkan nama demi anak-anak kami.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saya terkejut bahawa Presiden MCA Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek yang telah meletak semua jawatan politiknya selepas terperangkap dalam skandal pita video lucah dengan seorang wanita yang bukan isterinya, telah menganggap dirinya \u201cberani dan mengamalkan politik bermoral yang bertanggungjawab serta sanggup menanggung akibatnya\u201d. Dalam hal ini saya saya bersetuju dengan Chua bahawa \u201cLim Guan Eng bukan Chua Soi Lek\u201d kerana saya tidak berani untuk melakukan perbuatan tidak bermoral  seperti itu.<\/p>\n<p>Jelas sekali penahanan saya tanpa bicara di bawah Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri pada tahun 1987 dan pemenjaraan saya di Penjara Kajang pada tahun 1998 kerana mempertahankan mangsa rogol bawah umur tidak dapat menandingi keberanian Chua. Adakah mengaku terlibat dengan skandal moral membolehkan Chua terlepas daripada dituduh bersalah dan menjadikan dirinya sebagai seorang wira yang berani? Saya hanya boleh menyifatkan keberanian Chua sebagai keberanian muka tebal.<\/p>\n<p>Saya tidak faham cabaran Chua agar saya mengaku mempunyai hubungan sulit dengan bekas kakitangan saya sedangkan memang tdak ada sebarang hubungan langsung dan tiada sebab mengapa isteri saya perlu mengaku menyerang wanita tersebut apabila isteri saya tidak pernah menyerang mana-mana individu dalam hidupnya. Cyber-troopers Barisan Nasional yang berselindung di sebalik &#8216;tanpa nama\u201d untuk menyebar pembohongan kejam terhadap saya dan keluarga setiap hari. Saya memilih untuk tidak mempedulikan mereka, kalau tidak saya tidak ada masa untuk menjalankan tugas saya sebagai Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang.<\/p>\n<p>Walau bagaimanapun, apabila pembohongan ini dilemparkan terhadap saya oleh BN dan pemimpin-pemimpin MCA secara langsung, saya mempunya tanggungjawab dan hak untuk melindungi keluarga saya. Chua mesti buktikan asas tuduhan liar terhadap saya dan keluarga saya. Adakah keengganan saya untuk menjawab pembohongan yang tersebar di dalam internet sejak berbulan lalu atau ketegasan saya untuk menyaman mereka yang menyebarkan pembohongan tersebut menjadikan saya seorang yang  bersalah?<\/p>\n<p>Jika ya, Chua dan MCA perlu membuktikan keberanian dan politik bermoral mereka dengan mengulangi penipuan bahawa saya mempunyai hubungan sulit dengan bekas kakitangan saya dan isteri saya telah menyerang wanita tersebut, jadi kedua-dua kami boleh menyaman beliau dan MCA di mahkamah kerana memfitnah bagi membersihkan nama demi anak-anak kami. Jelas sekali Chua menyokong tindakan pengecut yang diambil oleh Pengerusi MCA Melaka, Datuk Gan Tian Loo yang menyalahgunakan keistimewaan dan berselindung di sebalik kekebalan Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Melaka untuk melontarkan dakwaan palsu terhadap isteri saya.<\/p>\n<p>Tidak seperti MCA, saya tidak pernah menyalahgunakan keistimewaan Parlimen untuk menyerang Chua secara peribadi di Parlimen atas salah laku skandal moralnya. Chua tahu bahawa bekas Presiden MCA Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat yang telah menyerang beliau dengan begitu ganas sehingga beliau dipecat daripada MCA semasa krisis parti MCA.<\/p>\n<p>Anak- anak saya berhak untuk mendapatkan perlindungan daripada pembohongan ini. Mereka telah terkena tempiasnya apabila UMNO Online, Ketua Pemuda UMNO Khairy Jamaluddin dan cyber-troopers BN menyebarkan pembohongan bahawa anak saya yang berumur 15 tahun terlibat dengan skandal mencabul rakan wanita kelasnya. Walaupun anak saya terbukti tidak bersalah, adakah betul dari segi moral dan keadilan yang anak saya perlu berdepan dengan trauma sebegini bagi membolehkan pemimpin-pemimpin politik BN dan UMNO yang tidak bermoral boleh mensabotaj karier politik saya? Mereka juga turut mendapat kesan daripada tuduhan terbaru ini.<\/p>\n<p>Sekiranya MCA dan Chua mempunyai bukti, nyatakan ia secara terbuka supaya saya dan isteri boleh menyamannya di mahkamah dan membuktikan kami tidak bersalah, bukan sahaja diri sendiri tetapi demi anak-anak kami. Tidak perlu lagi untuk meneruskan politik kotor ini oleh MCA dan BN. Orang ramai sudah muak dan penat dengan kempen memburuk-burukkan dan cubaan membunuh karektor  peribadi. Rakyat mahu membincangkan isu-isu awam yang berkepentingan kepada rakyat Malaysia terutama bagaimana untuk memerangi rasuah dan memperbaiki kehidupan ekonomi mereka.<\/p>\n<p>Soalan saya kepada Chua
