DAP 2012 Mother\u2019s Day Message By DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng In Kuala Lumpur on 12.5.2012.<\/p>\n

Treating All Malaysians Regardless Of Race, Religions Or Gender As Our Children By Embracing Love And Rejecting Hate Will Help To Create A Malaysian Nation That Allows Everyone To Live With Dignity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All Malaysians regardless of race, religions or gender are treated as our children by embracing love and rejecting hate, would help to create a Malaysian nation that allows everyone to live with dignity. There is deep concern that public institutions either are involved in violence or condone violence by racist and extremist organisations such as Perkasa.<\/p>\n

All mothers reject the language and actions of violence. The path towards non-violence is to embrace love and establish a civil society <\/p>\n

A civil society is a \u201cshared society\u201d, would allow Malaysians to make diversity a positive force for equal opportunity and social justice. Four elements constitute such a \u201cshared society\u201d \u2014 democratic participation in decision-making, respect for diversity and the dignity of an individual, equal opportunity and the prohibition of discrimination.<\/p>\n

We must stand together to fight corruption and abuse of power because only this success will build trust, provide progress and development to the people. Then only can the people live with dignity. Our children possesses the inalienable right to live in dignity in an environment that is clean, green, safe and healthy.<\/p>\n

Menganggap Semua Rakyat Malaysia Sebagai Anak Kita Tanpa Mengira Bangsa, Agama Atau Gender Dengan Mengamalkan Kesayangan Dan Menolak Kebencian Akan Membantu Untuk Membina Negara Malaysia Yang Memartabatkan Semua.<\/p>\n

Semua rakyat Malaysia harus dianggap sebagai anak kita dengan mengamalkan kesayangan dan menolak kebencian untuk membina negara Malaysia yang memartabatkan semua. Terdapat kebimbangan bahawa institusi awam kita sama ada terlibat atau membiarkan keganasan oleh pertubuhan-pertubuhan perkauman dan ekstremis seperti Perkasa.<\/p>\n

Semua ibu menolak bahasa dan tindakan ganas. Jalan untuk mengelak keganasan adalah untuk mengamalkan kesayangan dan menubuhkan masyarakat madani.<\/p>\n

Masyarakat madani adalah \u201cmasyarakat yang dikongsi\u201d dan akan membolehkan rakyat Malaysia untuk menjadikan kepelbagaian sebagai kuasa positif untuk kesaksamaan peluang dan keadilan sosial. \u201cMasyarakat yang dikongsi\u201d terdiri daripada empat elemen \u2013 penyertaan demokratik dalam proses membuat keputusan, menghormati kepelbagaian dan martabat individu, peluang saksama serta larangan diskriminasi.<\/p>\n

Kita harus berdiri bersama untuk membanteras korupsi dan salah guna kuasa kerana hanya kejayaan ini akan membina kepercayaan dan membolehkan kemajuan dan pembangunan rakyat. Hanya dengan ini boleh rakyat hidup dengan martabat. Anak-anak kita mempunyai hak yang tidak terpisah untuk hidup dengan martabat dalam suasana yang bersih, hijau, selamat dan sihat.<\/p>\n
