The Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar had said that he was offended by the statement made by me against Johor. Out of respect to the Johor Sultan, I wish to fully apologise to the Johor Sultan and his subjects, the people of Johor. I have no intention whatsoever to discredit Johor or any other state.<\/p>\n
The Sultan had also said that politics should be left to politicians and the people should not be dragging rulers into politics. I agree with the Johor Sultan.

\nI feel that what I had said has been misrepresented by the BN-controlled media. I will pursue this matter in court to determine the truth of where I had made the speech, what was actually said,how and in what context it was made.<\/p>\n
To-date except for the purported tape by TV3, there was no press report of what I spoke in Singapore or Australia. I have access to the tape of my interview with Radio Australia. I am still trying to locate the tape of what I said in Singapore which was made privately in a closed door session.<\/p>\n
I have instructed my lawyers to immdediately file a suit in court against the BN-controlled media, beginning with Bernama.<\/p>\n

Sebagai rakyat Malaysia yang setia kepada Raja dan negara, patik ingin memohon maaf kepada Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan Johor, atas rasa tersinggung DYMM Tuanku terhadap kenyataan berikutan dengan Johor yang telah dibuat oleh patik.<\/p>\n
Dan juga kepada rakyat jelata Johor di bawah naungan DYMM Tuanku atas perkara yang sama.<\/p>\n

Saya akan membawa perkara ini ke mahkamah untuk menentukan kebenaran tentang di mana saya membuat ucapan saya, apa yang sebenarnya yang diperkatakan, bagaimana ia dikatakan dan dalam konteks apa kenyataan itu dibuat.<\/p>\n
Setakat ini, selain daripada pita rakaman yang disiarkan oleh TV3, tidak ada sebarang laporan media tentang apa yang saya katakan di Singapura atau di Australia.
